Removing eyelash extensions is like removing a band-aid but around your eyes, which tend to have more delicate skin. And in the case of eyelash glue, it is formulated to be able to withstand contact with water for a more extended period than Band-Aid.
Which makes it almost twice as painful as ripping off a Band-Aid. Especially if there is a lot of glue, it stuck to your eyelids. Follow these steps to get eyelash glue off your skin. If it is on your clothes too, you can check this guide we made for getting the glue off clothes.
The best way to remove eyelash glue from the skin is by using natural oils to loosen the glue. Use castor oil, olive oil, canola oil, or any other oil of your choice to remove the glue.
You can apply the oil using your fingers, cotton swabs, or a cotton pad. You may also use a face towel, but make sure it is clean to avoid the transfer of germs to your eyes.
Be gentle when applying the oil to avoid irritating your eyes. Let the oil sit for a while then gently peel the eyelash extensions off your eyes. Then proceed to use a regular face cleanser to clean eyelash glue from the skin. It will also help to remove any excess oil used to loosen the glue. You can also use Vaseline to remove the false lashes.
Do not use oil on the lash extensions if you plan to reuse them. Any excess oil left on the eyelashes will prevent them from sticking next time. Steaming your face will also make removing the eyelash extensions easier.

Some eye makeup remover can also be used to remove false lashes. Apply the eye makeup remover with cotton swabs or cotton pads. Please do not get any of it in your eyes to avoid eye irritation.
